I've been making jerky for the past 15 years. It started out as a hobby, then it grew, now I have built on to our house twice to keep up with the demand.
Every Thursday afternoon, May- September, you can find me at the Farmers Market in Nebraska City NE. 3:45- 6:30, also every Saturday in Lincoln NE. during the Farmers Market down in the Historic Haymarket from May - October 8:00am- 12:00pm.
After 15 years I still enjoy it as much as I did when I began. In April 2008, I gave up my job and now am devoting my time and passion to making some of the best jerky you will ever find.
I use a dry ingredient curing process, like they did in the beginning, then I add my flavorings, at the present time I have 11.
